CYC Leads College to Career Scavenger Hunt

  On Wednesday, July 30, 20 children from Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) participated in a College to Career Scavenger Hunt led by CYC staff. The event kicked off at United Airlines with a tour of their Operations Training Center located in Willis Tower, followed by the scavenger hunt itself winding through downtown Chicago with various stops highlighting post-high school success. The teams ended their day at CareerBuilder headquarters where each small group presented on the day’s findings and heard from a panel of CareerBuilder employees sharing best practices and tips for success in the job market.
