LOCAL ADVISORY BOARDS (LAB)
Chicago Youth Centers Local Advisory Boards (LAB) give neighbors in each community a chance to influence and personalize their programming.
LAB members are vital to each of our centers. These community-based boards allow CYC to fully understand the needs and wants of each neighborhood we serve. LAB members main roles include:
Provide advice, guidance and support for the Center Director
Enhance center program visibility and public standing
Recruit and orient new Board Members
Help ensure adequate resources for the center
If you’re interested in a fun and direct way to get involved with your community, consider joining your LAB! To read a full description please CLICK HERE.
