Join CYC’s Race Team!

The children of CYC are running their own race daily—living in communities with high rates of violence and poverty and low performing schools. For them, CYC is a beacon of hope and strength—helping children build the academic, social, and emotional skills needed to be successful from early childhood to college and a career.

CYC Race Team Members receive:

  • A guaranteed entry into the race of your choice:
  • Training and nutrition tips.
  • Coordinated Fun Runs and events to connect with other CYC Race Team Members (optional)
  • Stories about CYC-Rebecca K. Crown Youth Center kids.
  • Race day running gear!

Date of Race:  Sunday, October 8, 2017

Registering:  Complete the CYC Race Team Application 2017 CYC Race Team Application and once submitted you will receive the UNIQUE link to the 2017 Bank of America Chicago Marathon which is connected to CYC and offers the guaranteed entry.  New in 2017:  CYC will pay your registration fee (value of $195) if you agree to fundraise at least $1500!

Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K or 2 mile Walk

Date of Event:  April 2, 2017

To Register: complete the 2017 Shamrock Shuffle Commitment and Waiver form, submit to Christy Beighe-Byrne, and register for the race here: https://www.shamrockshuffle.com/participant-information/registration/2017-registration/
