CYC Volunteer Opportunities

Chicago Youth Centers is always looking for volunteers to work with our children (ages 5-17 years old) on homework assistance, tutoring in a specific subject area (Math, Science, History, Reading, English, etc), career and college readiness activities (ACT/SAT preparation, mock-interviewing, applying to colleges and jobs, etc), preparing and leading recreational activities (arts/crafts, dance, yoga, DJ academy, etc…), or just helping out where ever you are needed.

CYC/Center Locations:Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, Bridgeport, Bronzeville, and South Shore. Times volunteers are most needed:  Monday-Friday from 2:30-8:00pm.

21st Century Programs: South Loop, Bronzeville (2 schools), and South Shore.  Times volunteers are most needed: Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00pm. 

After-School Mentoring Programs: North Lawndale (Wed), Bridgeport (Thurs), Bronzeville (Thurs), and Hyde Park (Mon or Wed).  Programs run Monday-Thursday usually from 2:30-5:00pm.
